Kiwi

The Kiwi is a New Zealand native flightless bird. It’s one of the apteryx family.
It is big, it is about the same size as a chicken, it has a long beak, brown feathers and shaped sort of like a pear.
It lives only in New Zealand and it comes out at night. They live in the bush.
It lays an egg and the dad looks after it.
The Kiwi is a New Zealand native bird and it’s protected.

Mini Dodgeball

This is how to play mini dodgeball
You will need tennis balls, ten or more people, and wall.

1 First you sort everyone out into two teams.
2 Then you choose one team to be the team that goes against the wall.
3 The other team is the team that throws the tennis balls at the other team.
4 When everyone in the dodging team has been hit and there’s one person left the person that is left is the winner.
5 Then the team that was dodging the balls is now the team throwing the balls.

I like dodge ball. I hope you do to

I AM

I am Fynn
I am all I see
I see the possum trying to get out of the possum trap.
The dozy cat lying in the shade .
The cars zooming past our gateway .
The calves walking around the grassy paddock .
The clucky chooks pecking at worms .

I am all I hear
I can hear the cows mooing in the field .
The dogs barking at wild pigs .
The chainsaw cutting down manuka .
The goats bleating at the dogs .
And mum calling me for tea .

I am all I feel
I feel the warm sun shining on my back.
The big slimy eel tugging on my line .
The hot milo drizzling down my throat .
The motorbike trying to take off on me .
And I feel the warm shower on my back .

I am.
A brother.
A Son
A boy.
I am Fynn

On Monday I woke up. then I ran to the kitchen and made some breakfast. After breakfast I brushed my teeth. then I loaded my gear into the car and slammed the car boot shut. Next we hit the road. we got to Stratford in no time. when we got there I sorted out what cabin I was going to sleep in. I chose a tidy one. My room mates names were lukis and Flynn. When we had finished orienteering we did archery with Mr barns and Rodney. for archery I hit two targets archery is fun then we went back for afternoon tea. For afternoon tea we had some yummy cake and biscuits. On Wednesday we went eeling and bivvie making when we went eeling we caught 4 eels we caught one of the eels in the eel henaki and we also got a trout in the henaki. Tony caught a eel on his eeling line ceyan also caught a eel on a line as well and we kept it but I don’t no what they did with it.
